Product distribution is of great importance to retailers and manufacturers. This example will show how easy it is to identify distribution problems with a few mouse clicks.
The four tables of numbers on the left-hand side of the screen aggregate the total distribution opportunity by banner, category, sales rep, and store respectively.
The map shows store locations, each colored by retail banner. The larger the circle, the greater the distribution opportunity was at the store it represents.
To the right of the map is a time series colored by product category. The wide table of numbers below the map shows the weekly dollar distribution opportunity for each of the 33 products being tracked at 169 stores.
